So yesterday, I was going to get out for at least a walk, or at least stay moving. Got up a bit late, as I didn't get to bed till 4 AM due to much talking and hanging out after the game. Hung out with Frank (he's staying with us for a few days) and got doughnuts. Then watched some Stargate with Frank and Erik while we waited for the character creation social (for one of the new LARPs). I kept meaning to get up and out but from almost right after waking up I had a dull headache, and it just kept getting worse. After trying food, tylenol, a shower, etc, I decided to lay down for a bit to see if that could help. It made us all late for the social, and the headache still wouldn't go away.

On the way to the social, we stopped at Del Taco, thinking perhaps maybe some more substatioal food will help, plus it was later inthe afternoon and past time for lunch anyways. While waiting for my food, I got some Coke from the fountain and started sipping on that, and about half way through, the headache was almost completely gone. Grrr.

This is aggravating for two reasons. One. If I knew it was a frickin caffeine headache, I would have taken care of it right at the beginning, saving myself hours of pain, and restoring my ability to actually do something active during that morning/afternoon. Two. How the hell did I get a caffeine addiction that bad? I had a Coke the day before. I don't have caffeiene that often, have been cutting back on coke and even tea with caffeine. I don't drink coffee. Why now?

So, dear readers, how does one get over caffeine addiction, aside from the obvious cut out caffeine? More water? Cut down on it without cutting it out entirely? I want to be able to have tea or soda every once in a while, but I'll be damned if I have to deal with a dependancy.
