Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

I said my prayer beads before falling to sleep. I know I dreamed but none of them held with me and I woke up with a clear mind instead of anxiety.

Instead I woke up with a story about a cyber friend's sharing of a story. So, I answered the call of the muse and wrote out the story. I hope as I follow the call of the muse, she will come to me more often.

I did go in and meditate.

Not long after I received a telephone call from a friend who is visiting relatives in another state. It was good to hear from her and of her adventures. It is fun to travel when one can get past of the comfort of home.

As I write, the sun is shining. There doesn't appear to be a breeze today though last night the weather person predicted that it will rain on Monday. Oh well, wait five minutes and the weather will change. I do love the sunshine we have been getting.

The hummingbirds are out and about. I heard them this morning as I was waking up. It is nice to be able to recognize their bird song.

Yesterday I saw one of the little brown birds perched on the wood beside the suet holder and pecking at what is left of the suet. I don't know how they do it. What an amazing feat!

Not much else going on today thus I shall close for today.
