Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

Well it has been a double drat day.

I had every intention of being up at 6 a.m. to view the eclipse of the moon. People I talked with were going to view it. Even the nightly news spoke of the event.

Well, my alarm went off at 6 a.m. normally to take my thyroid medication which I took. Not one thought of the moon came to my mind and I went back to sleep. First drat.

During the last week Michael and spoke about attending the area holiday parades. We had decided if any we would attend would be our local parade.

Well, at 10 a.m. I heard all kinds of sirens. My first thought was there must be a house fire. By 10:15 a.m. it dawned on me, as I heard a band playing, it is the morning of our local parade. Second drat. Now I will have to wait until next year.

Thus, the morning began.

Not much else happening today. I am going to putter around the house and read my book. I'm within the last 50 pages and would like to finish it today.

Well, everyone have a wonderful weekend.
