Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

"The only man who behaved sensibly was my tailor; he took my measurement anew every time he saw me, while all the rest went on with their old measurements and expected them to fit me." - George Bernard Shaw

Yesterday it was in the low 80s to middle 80s. Today at 1:25 p.m. PDT, it feels like it is in the middle 80s. I had to wash out some litter boxes and other bathroom containers and Michael's advice to me was to get out there while there was still shade on the patio. Once the sun came over the roof, the patio would be all sunshine. I took his advice and got my work done out there and every thing is drying now.

We have the fan over the dining room table going at slow speed and that is helping. We also took down the humming bird feeder to clean it and made up some new fluid for them. That will go out later this afternoon.

I feel tired today. Which isn't unusual since Monday was physically busy and Tuesday was mentally busy.

I was so tired last night that by 9 p.m. I was falling asleep in my chair. Michael got me into bed. But then, I forgot all about taking my glucose reading. Oh well, I will do it tonight.

Today has been a putter around the house today. Michael is even helping me with some of the housework. He's also being my DJ and playing tunes for my enjoyment. I am so lucky that we enjoy the same genres of music. The only contention is that Michael likes his music louder than I do. I'm okay if I am in another part of the apartment. I can't even imagine what our neighbors are thinking especially those behind us. I know Mr. T, next door, likes to get his music going, thank heavens he likes the music we do.

I need to close here and put the apartment back together since we have washed the floors. Yippee.
