I can sure tell you our lives are getting better....in small steps, but steps nonetheless.
Cathy so far is tolerating the new medicines well.....with the exception of some GI upsets. She is diligent about following "Doctor's orders" and she is pretty much in her recliner the majority of days....which is what she needs to do...she needs her rest....she doesn't sleep real well at night, but she does get to "catnap" during the day.
A move to a better house is in store for us...we will be doing so around the middle of March....as much as I dread moving, it is going to be a better place for us...bigger, newer, with an attentive landlord, plus we have option to rent to own...the Master suite is called the "West Wing"..its 20 x 20....has a nice, wonderfully, fenced in yard....a garage with a carport...and the garage has a loft and a pot belly stove in it...floors are beautiful oak.....a fireplace....so nice...and a great neighborhood...it will be not too far from where we are now....
We are in process of getting our lives back to some sort of order...we have been so blessed with friends and family of late. God has taken care of us and provided us all we need....a former family member has really stepped up to the plate to help out til we get back on our feet....you know, this is saddening to me, when I have a brother who hasn't spoken to me in a year. Greed got the best of him, and since he got the folks entire estate, he thinks I don't deserve anything at all....I should have my mom's Eastern Star stuff...I am her ONLY daughter.....my brother and his wife have 6 (SIX) vehicles between them...I have nada....oh well....he has to atone for his actions some day....I may not see it, but it will come back to haunt him...I have to focus on my life here, and now, and not dwell on his greed....but it sure does hurt me, knowing the two of them can NOT possibly drive SIX vehicles....while I have none...
I am going to go for now...thanks everyone for all the love and support you send our way....
