Wow....talk about surprised! Cathy, her mom, and I just returned from having breakfast downtown on the Bay. While that was nice in itself, we went thru some shops downtown as well. Artists pieces, etc.
We rode around a bit, came home, to find a strange car sitting in our yard. I saw 2 ladies in the yard, and I missed my driveway, trying to see whom it was...I recognized one, turned around, and came back. Our retired Marine friend, and her friend flew in from Illinois last night.....you could knock me over with a puff of air!!! We haven't seen her since June 2007, and she lived here while in the Marine Corps for almost 9 years....so we were so sad to see her go.....and now she is here. She wanted to fly in and surprise us...and did she...she is a close, dear friend to us both. But she moved to her home where all her family is at...so.....
More later on this, as well...as we are so surprised and I am off to visit!!!!
