Well, I had a doctor's appointment today...was a FOLLOW UP from 3 months ago....I was discussing with my doc then how I have some depression, but wanted to try to handle it sans meds. My own personal philosophy is that meds. don't "fix" problems, just masks them.....so I would rather try to get by without them, if possible. I do NOT like the "gorked out" feeling some of them give a person.....nor do I want to awaken and feel "drug out" the rest of the day...anyway, I am going to try them and see what happens....Nexium for reflux, Lexapro for depression, and Ambien for sleep....
Losing a mother, a cousin, and a brother all with in a year and a half began most of my depression...then loss of dad last year, and partner's diagnosis....will just about do it every time....
Anyway, tomorrow I will be Ms. Happy!!!!! chuckle...chuckle...
