Hello Everyone:
I have been really busy and haven't journalled much lately. I suppose that is a good thing...to stay so busy.....lol.
We are going to the western NC mountains Monday for a week. Its a beautiful, quaint little town with some even quainter cabins nestled into the side of the mountain. Cathy will be able to sit by the stocked 3 and a half acre pond to fish for brown trout, bass, blue gill, and catfish. I will be doing some much missed and greatly loved gem mining!!!!! Some dear, dear friends locally also have a cabin up there, and are already up at their cabin...we will spend 3 days visiting with them as well. I am so excited....we need a respite from this triple digit heatwave we are in. My sweet babies, my 4 dachshunds will go with us.....they LOVE to go "bye bye"
I can smell the fresh mountain air, see the beautiful hardwoods that abound, and taste the fish she will catch and grill out....yummy...it doesn't get any better than this!!!!
Will write more when I return around the 21st June!!!!
