good morning!

Well, it is sent-for better or worse. Now it is time for the wait. I am not hopeful for actually getting the job, however, preparing the paperwork was a good exercise and showed me where things can be improved.

Friday night DH met me after work and we walked up to the restaurant. We were almost an hour early for our reservation so we decided to stroll the street beyond the restaurant just to see what was there. Well, there was this little boutique called LouLou's-women's accessories. All sorts of stuff. I made it about 5 feet into the store. 3 gorgeous necklaces later ($75) we walked out. They are all bead/stone necklaces. One is shades of violet-with a violet flower offset. Another is jade stones and mother of pearl irregular shaped-2 stranded, and the third is a mesh of light green bead and crystal studs- I was happy with one, DH picked out the other two.

Then we went to the restaurant-what a waste of $$$$. We have eaten better for less at a chain restaurant. DH belongs to a site called "open table". We had made the reservation through them. We did the critique through them and they offer the chance to email the restaurant directly. Our comment to the restaurant was "If you want to serve just bar food, then don't call yourself a restaurant!" . When the best thing you ate was the green beans, there is a problem. The name of the restaurant was Gordon Biersh Brewery. Yes, I know they have beer-but they are suppose to have a great restaurant too! Even the starter-which was bar food-sliders with fried onions was not the best. The wait staff was too interested in talking amoung themselves to pay attention to the customers and they were LOUD!! DH steak was over cooked and cold, his tempora shrimp undercooked, my steak was overseasoned, my stuffed shrimp was underseasoned! And then, at 5pm on a Friday, they were out of the dessert special. HUH? The waiter only came over 1 time to see how we were, and we were half way through eating. By that time it was to late to correct errors. He had disappeared-we could hear the staff-just not see all of them. He got exactly 15%. We will not go back!

Well, got to go!
