Musings About Writing and Stories About Life

She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

Blessed Lughnasadh!

Blessed Lughnasadh to you all! May the fruits of your harvest be bountiful and take you through the winter months ahead.

All I wrote yesterday in the journal was “My wrist feels better today. Phew.”, which didn’t seem worth posting a whole entry for.

Ya’ll probably won’t hear from me again until Sunday, or possibly even Monday. We’re scurrying around this morning, trying to get ready to head north. We wanted to get out earlier than we will, but Ken’s getting stuff ready for his trip, as we’ll get back late on Saturday and we’ll be at the airport early on Sunday. Better now than Saturday night.

I have a new pirate skirt, an altered old chemise (the famed Chemise From Hell), and seven new sashes for Wicked Red’s crew. Arrr!
