STShowcase: Special Message
Previous Entry :: Next Entry

STShowcase.

Your host: Hal Holbrook.

HH: Good evenning and welcome to STShowcase, I'm Hal Holbrook.

For the most part Silly Thinking is fun, but sometimes important world leaders and breaking news intrude on our Silly fun and make you pause to consider the pressing issues of the day.
That's what happened one day last September when the President of The United States asked to speak directly to the citizens of the world via Silly Thinking. We were happy to oblige, so now gather your family around your portal to the past and enjoy, and think about, this "Special Message" from September 8th, 2003.

The regularly scheduled "Food Is Fun" message will not be seen at this time. We now switch to the White House for a special message from the President Of The United States.

"Good afternoon my fellow American freedom fighting survivors of terror. I come to you this afternoon to ask your help in my "Campaign Against Terror" campaign. Over the last 24 months we have fought terror given to us by people who thought they could terrorize us to not fight terror. They were wrong. The terrorists wanted a war and we gave it to them. A war against terror. A Terror War. Now I need $87 billion dollars to fight more terror that threatens our way of life. Terror is expensive and we need $87 billion dollars to fight more terror before terror fight us. As part of my "Leave No Company Behind" campaign against terror I have instructed Colin Powell to charge a sur tax on the "Food Is Good" website to fight terror and people who do terror against us. If just 870 of you give us a sur tax of 10 million dollars each that will not give us enough money to fight terror but it will be enough to fight some terror. If we don't get this money terror people and people who spread terror will win and we will loose our great country and our freedom loving freedoms to terror. We can not let this happen. We are in a war against terror loving people everywhere.
I hope you will give against terror but the money will be a tax so you have no choice and I will Leave No Choice Behind in my Leave No Choice Behind Campaign Against Terror.
Now here are my answers in that Molly Ringwald thing.
1. "The Tempest"
2. Bruce.
3. Anthony Micheal Hall.
4. "Lost In Space"
If I win that cake it will be a blow to people whose whole way of life is terror and I will give that cake to small children somewhere who are starving because of them. God Bless This country but not people who like terror. God does not bless terror. God Bless freedom fighting America in all parts of the world and God Bless America's fight against terror. Thank you and God Bless this Great terror fighting country of the United States."

You have just read a special address from The President of The United States. In the president's remarks he spoke out against terror and the need for a lot of money to fight terror. The President said if he won the Molly Ringwald cake he would give it to small children who are starving because of terror and he went over his "Leave No Company" behind campaign.
Don Simon joins us now. Don how did the President do?

It wasn't important that he do well it was just important that he appeared ready to fight terror and gave us an update on the plans for fighting terror. I thought he did a good job.

Do you think he will win that cake, that Molly Ringwald Fight Terror Cake.

That was intresting that he decided to enter that contest. It was not important for him to win but to enter, but I thought he did a good job and should win the cake.

Thank you Don, thank you everyone. We will have much more on this, stay here for more later. we will have a full report and recap later right here. And now back to Beatrice.
