I'm sitting here at my desk at CSUN with legs soaked from the knees down. And my shoes are over in the cubicle corner where they have a better possbility of drying out.

Why? Just 'cause I decided this morning that my long raincoat would be enough to fend off this morning's downpour. Nope. The raincoat just funneled all the water down to the knees and there it simply swooshed down my legs to find its way to the sea.

Next time I'll go back to my huge 'brella. It works better, but it's cumbersome on the train and shuttle bus. Better than being this wet however.

Got a bit of cold, enough so that I stayed home yesterday with the dogs and enjoyed the rain. It should keep up through tomorrow. Yay!

In the bad news department, our DVD player has developed a technical problem that means it has to go in for servicing. BIG :-(

WB has resumed its employee screenings, so we attend last night's showing of Chicago on the lot. I did like it, and enjoyed the time out, but don't see why it's up for best picture of the year. Unfortunately, I think it has a better chance of winning than Two Towers.
