Greg and I saw three movies in the theater this week - Land of the Dead, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and Howl's Moving Castle. Seeing that many movies in one week has to be a record for me. We also rented Night of the Living Dead because I'd never seen it. I have to say, I liked the old zombie movie much more than the new. Mr. and Mrs. Smith was fun and entertaining, but I probably won't remember very much about it in a few weeks. Howl's Moving Castle was gorgeous, but the internal logic was, um, not very logical to me in many places. I'm not quite certain how or why some things happened, but it sure was beautiful to watch.

I spent part of today cleaning out my closet. Many of my clothes don't fit me anymore, but I've been finding it difficult to justify buying new clothes when my closet had so much stuff in it. Well, after purging the clothes that don't fit, I don't have many clothes left. That'll make it emotionally easier to buy more stuff. Now, I'll have to see if I can just get myself to want to go to the mall and be a good little consumer.

I can tell that I've been spending the summer on my lazy butt because I don't have much to say here, so I'll stop now.
