Just a quick note to let anyone who's interested know that the drought is over!!!

I finally sold a story. And to a cool, cool market -- Flytrap, a brand-new 'zine published by Heather Shaw and Tim Pratt, fellow writing buddies. This is my first invitation-only sale, and man does it feel great!

The story is "Never, Incorporated," and it's especially nice seeing that one get published because I wrote the first draft of it while I was slogging away at my old Day Job, and it's also cool getting it accepted because I'd never shown it to anyone for a critique before sending it out! It's also a weird story, very surreal and a bit silly. But I liked it!

It's also the first story I've sold since getting "Goddamn Redneck Surfer Zombies" accepted by The Book of More Flesh way back in August, three loooong months ago.

Cool.

Now, I must write more. I'm down to 23 stories out in circulation... Later!
