Got up early to do some more work on the ol' baseball novel, and I managed to finish tweaking chapter seven, one of the "big chapters" where tons of things happen -- a player is lost (he goes on his version of a vision quest), an opposing player (who was once the boxing champion of the world) makes a break from the ballpark while being chased by the police, our narrator thinks he sees his estranged wife in the stands, and our curious centerfielder makes a key prediction about the reunion of our narrator with his lost family.

Now, I'm ready to dive into the rough waters of parts two and three. Yikes.

I hope to add all my research notes today, to the whole book. Lots of nifty tidbits to plug in, from kegs of beer at third base to the Play-O-Graph for the World Series to a women's suffrage rally between games. Fun times.
