=================================================

Location: Work.
Pleasant Surprise: An early morning call from Peter. :)
Listening: "Glamorous Life" ~Sheila E.

Never let it be said that I'm not adaptable.

Within twenty-four hours of Peter's departure, I was sitting at a table for thirteen at Hakata Sushi on the west side, presiding over the minor extravaganza that had begun as an intimate dinner for myself and a few friends. Word apparently spread in certain circles that I was coming up for the 13th and, by the time I got off work and got up to Williams', the evening had taken on a life of its own. We ordered an egregious amount of fish, toasted the holiday with cold sake and Kirin and capped it off with cigarettes and conversation at DeWit's.
Unexpected, but a nice, smooth transition back into my "other life" as I've taken to calling it.

Spent the night on the sofa at Williams' and then took off for Erotic LA with DeWit and Jill. ELA is the annual convention for the adult entertainment industry in Los Angeles. It's otherwise known as "PORN CON" and is apparently one of the largest gatherings of its kind in America (aside from the Annual AVN Awards in Vegas, of course). I attended ELA for the first time last year and became so enamored of it that I jumped at the chance to go again.
