Just received email from my best girlfriend from middle/high school and beyond. Apparently, she's engaged. Her boyfriend of the past two and half years proposed this past weekend. They'll be getting married in October of next year in New England (they live and work in Connecticut).

I'll write more on this later, but end this now by saying that this makes me the last of my kind. My circle from high school (Erin, Jayna, Amanda, Bloodworth) are all married or engaged.

Hm. One hell of a day, and it's not even noon.
