Wow! What could be better than sitting under the stars with my honey enjoying the warmth of a crackling fire and eating s'mores. Fresh marshmallows really make a difference and good chocolate is, of course, a must. ; ) We don't get to just sit and talk as much as we used to (for obvious reasons... two of them at least) but every time we do I stop and think: "Wow! I married a really cool guy." That may sound like a silly thing to say *shrugs*... maybe it is. But I don't often take time to stop and think about it. Its not like I forget or something in between. I just don't ponder upon it like I used to... in BC time (BC = before children).

Sunday afternoon we all went out to the beach by Ventura Harbor. The waves are really small there so its perfect for Jessie.

The differences between Sam and Jessie's personalities are so obvious at the beach. At this age (18 months), you had to hold Sam back or he'd try to swim out to the islands. (and get mad when you wouldn't let him LOL!) Jessie, on the other hand, didn't even get in the water for the first hour we were there.I'd ask her if she wanted to and she said "no." Yes, she can understand that much.

She did eventually get in the water and had a very good time, but she preferred to play on the sand with her toys.

Another open house came and went. Only 4 families this time. I'm not a realtor, but I gotta wonder if we're "over-exposed." This was our third one! The house looks so good. If its not the long escrow time that is causing a problem, I don't know what it is. I'm trying to stay positive. We only need one committed family after all. But my confidense wanes with each passing hour.
