That'd be on the open house. Our 5th one was today.

About 6 or 7 families this time... I think. Two of which apparently were quite interested. Yeah, right... show me an offer.

Started getting ready for Plan C (as in stay in California). Put my resume on Monster Thursday last week. Friday got a call from a head hunter. Guess that's a good sign. I've got some skills... somewhere. ; )

Need to get Sam enrolled in after-care. Forgot to to that today. Guess I'll do it Monday.

If the house doesn't sell by Sept 15, we'll take it off the market until Jan or Feb of next year and try again. The good thing about that is we won't be moving so close to winter. The bad thing is the preparations listed above (and more).

Until then, we're pretty resigned to the fact that its not going to sell. Why??? Because the kitchen is a dark green. Hey! Stop laughing! I'm being serious. Our realtor called up realtors of folks who've viewed our place and that came up several times. *shakes head and sighs heavily*

So we'll have 5 or 6 months to repaint what we spent the previous 5 or 6 months painting. : \

Bob got his mountain bike fixed so he and Sam excitedly pedaled off late in the day to indoctrinate Sam into the cult of mountain biking. LOL! Well, Samuel was well and duly indoctrinated indeed! As I sat beside the tub giving Jessie a bath, the door opened and there stood Sam... face completely schmered with dirt! He wouldn't let me get a picture. Darn it! He's bruised but unbroken and willing to go out again tonight. You gotta love kids!

And of course Bob has blogged the story much better than I.
