2006-05-22 4:13 PM Nukular Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (0) On Sunday took place the implosion of the cooling tower of the former Trojan Nuclear Power Plant, outside of Portland. In today's paper one of the anti-nuclear-power activists responsible for the closure of Trojan remarks about the tower that: "It's a monument to the failure of that technology and to the arrogance of the people promoting it." Now, as we all know (or should), hubris is punished by the gods themselves, not by mortals or anyone named Lloyd Marbet. So this activist--arrogating to himself as he does the powers of the gods to correct the arrogant--is going to find himself really well fucked over one of these days, once the Olympians have an opening in their schedule. Watch your ass, Lloyd.
