I am not having a spectacular week.

I'm still feeling overwhelmed about the amount of stuff that needs to be done to get the apartment unpacked and set up.

I still have lingering upper respiratory ickiness from my cold.

I can't seem to get enough sleep.

Had two friends exchanging some rather harsh e-mails on a mailing list that I'm on, largely due to a miscommunication which was partly my fault. The dispute has been largely patched up now, thanks mostly to others, but I'm still feeling like a dope.

No spectacular disasters at work, but it hasn't really been a stellar week there, either. I've been distracted and things have been taking longer than I think they should.

On the other hand, our boss is taking us out for a holiday lunch tomorrow. And I have managed to put together a bookcase, hang a shower curtain, and install a wireless networking card in my laptop so far this week. And I'm going to try making up another recipe for dinner tonight.

And someday, there will be a weekend when Daniel and I don't look at each other and say, "So, which boxes shall we unpack today?"

So, I guess things aren't all bad.
