I'm smiling right now. :) I just got a really cool gift for Boss's Day. I've never gotten anything like a Boss's Day gift before so I'm all sorts of surprized and jazzed, especially since I know that everyone in my department is broke as it is the day before payday.

Lisa got it from Mrs. Fields, it's 3 cookies in a box, a small balloon-on-a-stick, and multicolored stuffing in a big mug with a lady bug on it. I saw it and went "AW! a twiddle bug!" then had to figure out where the hell my brain pulled that name from, then realized that it was from 20 year old Sesame Street shows of my childhood, making me feel old but oh well. :) It's so cute!

Last night I had horrible insomnia. I've also been having some strange dreams that I wake up in the middle of the night from and instead of being able to settle back down to sleep, I'm spinning my wheels trying to figure them out. I've dreamed about my dad, about people that I haven't seen in years, and about people that I've only seen pictures of in Journalscape or LJ or elsewhere online. For instance, last night, I was roadtripping out of state with someone from LJ that I've never met IRL. It was strange. The night before, I dreampt I was at some fair and there was a booth that my dad was at, and we talked and I was embarassed about something but couldn't remember what. I've had dreams before that he was in that in my dream, I knew that it was a dream because he passed away in 2000, but in this one, the thought never crossed my mind.

I should probably start doing yoga again, or some kind of exercise, it may just be too much energy that hasn't been expelled because I sit around all day. I've been meaning to get to the gym again, but I delayed too long and now that the MTA is on strike I'm not really on my own time for when I want to go home, I've got to get here earlier and leave earlier because of my ride.

I've been podering a lot of stuff lately. I've got a really good idea that I think I'm going to go with for NaNoWriMo, I've got my stuff at home a bit more under control, I'm getting my finances straightened out, finally, and am well on my way to getting situated with my liscence and car. (Still need to pass that behind the wheel test though) I've got a game this Saturday and am teetering between two ways that I want to pull that plot, and some other ideas to add to it as well. With ICC coming up next weekend, it's a little bit of pressure, but not too bad. I hope to have a good sized game, but I've done okay with my smaller ones so far. My games don't have as big of a draw as some others, which is totally cool, but sometimes if the game is too small, I've got to come up with a lot more on the spot. Some storytellers make this job look way too easy. :)
